BRIGHTON based five-piece The Island Club are another indie-pop outfit contributing infectiously hook driven beats to the South Coast city of music. The band have previously supported the likes of D.I.D and Blossoms but have quickly become headliners in their own right.Their first release 'Paper Kiss' is a shimmery gem of a song, complete with youthful energy and a massive chorus, everything gels and it's one you'll certainly be adding to your summer playlist. Their latest offering 'Let Go' finds them making consistent strides forward, it's intentionally infectious from the first beat.
The gang of melody makers have made a name for themselves locally and now on an increasingly national level. They're fast becoming the band they've always wanted to be and they're psych-tinted madness is going places. We can't wait to see where exactly their particular brand of anthemic indie-rock takes them.
