Fond Of Rudy feel the 'L O V E' on new track

Basing themselves in Brighton, upcoming four-piece Fond Of Rudy make dreamy pop jams that are built for bigger audiences.

Progressing from a string of bouncier releases in the past, this time round the group have slowed the pace with 'L O V E', a down-tempo number that perfectly fits into their self-described 'South Eastern Calypso Alt Pop' and will have you feeling the love for it.

Cut from the same cloth as Blood Orange and The Japanese House, the track's charm lays in lead singer Matt's soothing vocals and sultry backing beats.

The band explain: "The track represents our take on a modern slow jam. It's packed full of lust and emotion...tuning in to that persona of missing opportunities out of fear."

Fond Of Rudy's music certainly comes from the heart and the group align themselves musically alongside The 1975 on the sensual and atmospheric guitar solo towards the end of the track.

Take a listen to 'L O V E' below and catch Fond Of Rudy live soon.
