Angry Vs The Bear aren't a relatively new band; The Essex four piece have been together for years, and have received some impressive media coverage throughout this time. BBC Radio 1 have said "It's a synth-tastic slice of retro pop, sounding rather like the Gossip might if all guitars were suddenly outlawed" The Fly Magazine have also contributed to the hype by adding "Angry Vs The Bear, who sound every bit as good as they look - raucous, glitzy, and unashamedly fun" The Fly Magazine.
Personally my highlight out of all their tracks, is I Sing, We Sing. It has that incredibly edgy feel to it - only artists who aren't afraid to push the boundaries attempt a crack at tunes like this. That's what makes them so decent. Another characteristic about the band, is that they genuinely seem to care for their fans. You've got to hand it to them - for a band who have 'made it' they're very down to earth.
Another of their tracks Show Emotion, has been used on TV advertising campaign for Investec bank. Notable brands such as Karen Millen and River Island have featured the band in their advertising campaigns. Also Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens chose Show Emotion as his 'record of the week' a while ago.
