The four-piece's latest release 'Be Here Forever' extracted from their debut EP was self-produced and mastered by John Davis, who has previously worked with Bloc Party, Led Zeppelin and Arctic Monkeys. The track marks a level of progress since previous tracks were aired. This one's all about giddy riffs and sun-bleached beats. With searching and yearning moments at the forefront, it's a number that even Yannis Philippakis would be proud of.
Guitarist Luke O'Gorman revealed to The 405 that they have: "A deeper love for dance music than the average guitar band, so the idea of 'Be Here Forever' was to channel that sheer hedonism into the vibe of a guitar song."

Bare Traps are pure sunshine and they contain authenticity in abundance. Their sound is a mix of style and substance rolled into one and we're eager for them to drop more material soon.
Bare Traps are supporting fellow London-based band Judas at The Barfly in Camden on 29th January. Tickets are £6 and can be bought here.
