Atlas Wynd

ATLAS Wynd are a Brighton-based garage rock duo with a swell of chatter growing around them. Describing themselves as a 'two piece that provides you with a wall of sound that's sure to knock you to the back of the room' the future is lit with promise for them. The two-piece have already been announced as part of the bill for Brighton's annual new music festival, The Great Escape, which will see Atlas Wynd take to the BIMM stage of The Hope and Ruin on 19th May.

'Mischief March' is a smart and calculated number that features unrelenting drums from Harry Sotnick and is held together by tight guitar riffs and an infectious melody. The band are tearing up the new music scene in Brighton like no other, with consistent gigging throughout the city word is really starting to spread and all the right ears are being pricked in the process.

The dynamic and punchy beats of 'Road Less Travelled' presents a softer side to the duo and a sense of kooky weariness arises after an initial listen of the sub-four minute cut. Press repeat a few times and you'll hear similarities to Kettering psych rock gods, Temples. This tune is one that has a nostalgic feel to it and is ideal for seaside strolls in the summertime, if that's your thing.

Atlas Wynd look set to have an incredible 2016 if the first three months are anything to go by. The duo's variety of talent and ability to switch genres is completely compelling from the offset. Go mental for their massively tasty tunes and be sure to catch them live at an independent venue near you soon; Atlas Wynd are on an unstoppable rise.
