Formidable Liverpool four-piece Clean Cut Kid have hit all the right notes on their new track 'We Used To Be In Love'. The single is the first taster from their forthcoming EP of the same name and early indications suggest fans are in for a treat.
The band are starting to amass a faithful fan base and are rising through the ranks rapidly. This comes as no surprise and an initial listen to the tune will tell you exactly why. From the opening chords the track appears to be rolling and upbeat and the quartet appear brilliantly tight from the off.
The hooks are as commanding and appealing as ever and this is a tune that will no doubt become a set highlight for them. Clean Cut Kid burst with melody and catchy tracks, they're ability to make absolute pop belters in unfailing and they always manage to bust out the distinctly good vibes.
There's something about Clean Cut Kid that feels totally special and you don't want to miss out on it for one second. Keep an ear out for new material from the band soon, if 'We Used To Be In Love' is anything to go by - it certainly won't disappoint.
