With appearances at Reading and Leeds Festivals later this month, the band have released a studio version of what is already a live fan favourite. Clocking in at just over three minutes, the track is a burst of energy from start to finish that has frenetic guitar work threaded throughout. The band have been garnering attention for quite a while and 'Speak' only adds to the excitement surrounding them.
The new track captures the classic, catchy chorus and heavy guitar melody format that the band have become known for and once again it sees them succeed. The members that make up the band may only be in their teens but they belong in venues twice the size they're currently playing in. It makes you wonder if someday they'll belong on the level of bands such as Arctic Monkeys and The Libertines.
'Speak' is a delightfully crisp, detailed and rich tune and one that sees High Tyde sounding as polished and locked together as ever. They've still got some way to go but they're well on their way to success.
