Preview: Fairchild, Bellevue Days, Bel Esprit

Who doesn't love a Club CloseUp show? We're certainly fans and the Brighton/London promotions company, in association with Jagermeister, are keeping us entertained with another showcase at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen on 19th August. Fairchild will headline the gig with support coming from Bellevue Days and Bel Esprit.

Manchester via Australia group Fairchild will bring a much needed dose of indie/synth pop to the popular East London venue. Expect the headliners to launch into sleek and catchy guitar tracks such as the excellent 'Neighbourhoods' that contains obvious 80s influences and wouldn't sound amiss on a Duran Duran record. The Aussies have racked up a performance at Dot 2 Dot Festival already this summer and there's plenty more in the works. With a new single to follow soon, you do not want to miss Fairchild's biggest London headline performance to date.

Hailing from South London, Bellevue Days are a four-piece who are no strangers to a gig in the capital and we're excited to see what new elements they will bring to their live show. With garage indie roots at the core of standout tracks such as 'Let's All Be Friends' and 'Ripped Jeans', Bellevue Days are perfect for fans of The Cribs and Biffy Clyro. Make sure you catch them at Club CloseUp.

Opening band Bel Esprit are hotly tipped and are fast gaining a legion of fans who will vouch for that. Their previous single 'Lose My Mind' gained 150,000 hits across multiple platforms when it was released a while back. The Southampton foursome will embark on their first national tour later in the year and whilst they're golden moment is still to come, their performance at Club CloseUp is bound to be as flawless as ever.
