Preview: Overhead Wires Music Presents 'The Secret Level' (Matt Murphy + Support)

Make the most of the final days of summer with a candle-lit acoustic gig in Hove. 'The Secret Level' will showcase a range of colourful and upbeat acoustica, featuring a wide array of pop, folk, funk and country to name a few. Pop down to The Brunswick pub on 1st September, located a short distance from Brighton, to discover a host of incredible artists in an atmospheric setting.

If you're a regular reader, you would have heard all about Shrewsbury born singer-songwriter Amelia Caesar. The young artist is now Brighton-based and making serious waves in the city; she's come a long way over the last six months or so. If you're into Lucy Rose and Ben Howard, you'll love the sound of Caesar's debut track 'Our Love'. Be sure not to miss her set as it won't be long before you're hearing a lot more of her name.

20 year old musician Charlie Moss is on the rise in Brighton since breaking onto the music scene with his unique loop pedal performances and catchy lyrics that you'll easily find yourself relating to. Expect a set from Moss with similar stylings to Ed Sheeran and Van Morrison - a complementary lead up to the main performance of the evening.

Headliner Matt Murphy is an acoustic rap artist from Brighton whose lyrical style is intelligent, well-crafted and touches upon gritty, realistic life issues as well as personal woes of his own. This results in deep and emotive music with the ability to really move an audience and it's quite simply our cup of tea.

Get down to this steal of a show to kick off September with a bang. It's free entry as well, so there's no excuse not to.
