The first ever Portsmouth Psych Fest will take place at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth on 29th April 2017.
Delivered in association with Casemates Studios and sponsored by Sailor Jerrys, the line-up for the all-dayer has recently been announced and features talent from local and national acts on the psychedelic, shoe-gaze and post punk scene.
Taking place across two stages within the venue, they will be transformed to fit the mood of the event by psychedelic visual artist - Innerstrings.
Bo Ningen will headline the event with other acts including: Saint Agnes, Lice, Melt Dunes, Strange Cages and Vinyl Staircase also added to the bill.
Festival Director, Nicki Allen commented on the event saying: "As a long time psychedelic festival goer that has travelled up and down the country to attend amazing festivals that other cities do so well, I thought it was time to try it out in my hometown.
"There is a big appreciation for this genre of music here in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, and I am to help promote Portsmouth by presenting a range of exciting musical acts.
"I hope this will help promote the area, venues, businesses and community in the process."
