The Island Club release new single 'Paper Kiss'

Brighton indie quintet, The Island Club have dropped their latest single 'Paper Kiss'.

Following up their 2016 debut, 'Let Go', the new cut comes complete with shimmering melodies, soaring vocals and strokes of brilliance.

'Paper Kiss' is a confident, riff-roaring beast that sees their dance-infused style of pop reach seismic levels.

The five-piece have been gigging relentlessly making a name for themselves recently, as well as curating their own club night, 'Island Club Presents' in Brighton.

The inaugural show at The Prince Albert in February was a major success, selling out in less than a week.

The next club night has been set for 17 May at The Haunt, which will see the group tackle their biggest headline performance to date.

Preview: The Island Club & MarthaGunn @ The Prince Albert, Brighton

As part of a new musical showcase, two of Brighton's finest bands The Island Club and MarthaGunn will join forces for the first in a series of regular shows.

With different artists to be announced for each event, it seems only fitting that The Island Club headline the first one set to take place at Brighton's The Prince Albert on 23rd February.

The five-piece have been building an impressive name for themselves and the few singles they've previously released serve as a prime indicator for what's to come.

Latest track 'Let Go' is a swirling, sun-soaked anthem with a catchy chorus from the off and addictive hooks that will have you hitting repeat in seconds.

The track picked up over a million streams on Spotify and the lads are becoming more successful by the day; they're a band who are certainly going places.

Support on the night will come from MarthaGunn, a five-piece who offer something remarkably different (and insanely good) from the rest of the city's music scene.

The female-fronted group have been racking up more and more performances as of late and they're really starting to propel themselves into further success.

We can't wait to hear the angelic sounds of their latest singles 'Honest' and 'Honey, Let Me Know' live. Get down early to catch their performance.

Tickets are now sold out for this gig; if you have one you're in for a treat.

The Island Club

BRIGHTON based five-piece The Island Club are another indie-pop outfit contributing infectiously hook driven beats to the South Coast city of music. The band have previously supported the likes of D.I.D and Blossoms but have quickly become headliners in their own right.

Their first release 'Paper Kiss' is a shimmery gem of a song, complete with youthful energy and a massive chorus, everything gels and it's one you'll certainly be adding to your summer playlist. Their latest offering 'Let Go' finds them making consistent strides forward, it's intentionally infectious from the first beat.

The gang of melody makers have made a name for themselves locally and now on an increasingly national level. They're fast becoming the band they've always wanted to be and they're psych-tinted madness is going places. We can't wait to see where exactly their particular brand of anthemic indie-rock takes them.
