Rock Revolver: 5 unmissable acts to catch at Bushstock 2017

With festival season nicely underway, it's nearly that time of year again when Bushstock returns to West London for a day of musical delights and this year's line-up is a formidable one.

The multi-venue all-dayer is a huge champion of new music and is presented by Communion as an annual celebration of the work they do, which means festival-goers are never short of a treat. 2017's bill features a whole heap of exciting new and already established artists that will undoubtedly thrill crowds.

Here's our picks of the most unmissable acts appearing at this year's event on Saturday 10th June.

Spring King

Manchester's Spring King are known for putting together a decent festival set and the four-piece have racked up an impressive amount of slots over the last couple of years. With a great deal of industry support and an ever-expanding fan base, Spring King are set to take Bushstock by storm as they reel out the hits from last year's debut album, 'Tell Me If You Like To'. If you like fast-paced, catchy indie-rock; Spring King are the band for you.

FOURS

Electro-pop four-piece FOURS are set to provide the ultimate shindig of the festival for anyone who likes a boogie. With plenty of upbeat and contagious music to their name, the band have been garnering a fair amount of attention recently and it's all completely justified. FOURS are an outfit with an obvious knack for tunes, make sure you catch their set at this year's Bushstock.

Gordi

Gordi, aka 23 year old Australian Sophie Payten, is to make the trek from her native Sydney for this year's Bushstock. With a swell of chatter around the buzzy newcomer, the singer-songwriter is on a rapid rise and is set to succeed in 2017, but first a stop at Bushstock to win even more fans over. Expect richly-layered guitars, electronic production and passionate songwriting.

Seafret

Originally hailing from Bridlington but now living in London, Seafret hit it off at an open mic night and have been making music together ever since. Fast growing a positive reputation, the pair released their debut album, 'Tell Me It's Real' and are expected to play tracks from it at the festival.

Ten Tonnes

Upcoming singer-songwriter Ten Tonnes is certainly an act not to be missed at Bushstock 2017. With a track produced by The Maccabees' Hugo White, 19 year old Ethan Barnett is the man behind the music and the younger brother of George Ezra. Barnett recently played SXSW, Live At Leeds and The Great Escape and it's hard to shake the feeling that the young musician is on to something bigger.
