It's always a pleasure to welcome Honeyblood back to Brighton and this evening a mellow and relaxed atmosphere filters through the crowd, a stark comparison to previous support slots for the likes of the supercharged, teenage Superfood headlining the NME tour in 2014. Tonight lead singer Stina Tweeddale welcomes the crowd and thanks everyone for coming along to the show.
The tour coincides with the release of their recent album 'Babes Never Die' and sees Honeyblood take both Tear and Estrons on tour with them as support on this round of shows - they fit in nicely with Honeyblood's musical style and energy too.
Later this summer Honeyblood will be heading out on the road again, playing festivals such as Y Not Festival, Latitude and Reading to please their ever-growing fanbase.

Their set starts with tracks, such as 'Justine, Misery Queen' from the new album and progresses to highlights including the head bopping tracks 'Super Rat' and 'Killer Bangs' that are taken from the band's debut album.
Tweeddale engages frequently with the audience recollecting the last time she was in Brighton. Tour stories unfold whilst urging the furthest away audience members in the venue to come forward: "Come on guys at the back, come on forward and have a wee dance..." and dance they did.
