Situated in the heart of Camden Town, Dingwalls is an intimate venue shrouded in a very special feeling. It seems fitting then that Reading four-piece The Amazons are the latest band to step up to the iconic stage, one that so many music legends have taken to before them.

Tonight's crowd is extremely industry-heavy, with younger fans piling themselves against the stage with a lack of barriers to separate them from their idols.

Cardiff natives, Estrons pave the way for the main act to take over from with a fiery, amped up set that warms the swiftly swelling crowd. Their 2015 breakthrough single 'Make A Man' garners a triumphant response and leaves a lasting impression that their power grunge pop is certainly going to see them do well. 

The sense of occasion surrounding tonight's sold out gig is palpable and standing room in the venue soon becomes rammed. After a short break, The Amazons take to the stage and kick proceedings off with the storming cut 'Black Magic'. 

An uncontrollable sense of euphoria immediately spreads to every corner of the venue and it clicks into place exactly why the band have seen such a huge surge in popularity in such a short space of time. 

Flame-haired frontman Matt Thompson keeps the buzz alive throughout the entirety of their set and delivers impressive amounts of energy. He plays with so much passion and so hard that he accidentally whacks a fan in the face with his Les Paul guitar at one point. "I'm really sorry man," he apologies to the fan who is already rigged out in the band's merch, before offering him another t-shirt. 

There's no hint of tiredness once from the quartet and as the familiar notes of live set staples 'Little Something' and 'In My Mind' ring out; the crowd go absolutely berserk. Choosing to close their set with the ultimate crowd-pleaser, 'Junk Food Forever', the band bow out as the crowd are left chanting the defining chords of the tune before returning for a well-deserved victory lap. 

The Amazons are a band who take every new step in their stride and tonight's gig offered an exciting window into the future of a band who are consistently improving. With their debut album due for release in May, the transition to bigger stages doesn't feel so far off. Dingwalls was the final hurdle for them to conquer; now Brixton is calling.

The Green Door Store's annual weekender is back for another year. Two Three Four Festival is due to take place at the intimate Brighton venue under the station arches over the August bank holiday weekend (Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August) and features one hell of a line-up.

The free entry event features performances across the weekend from a variety of artists, local and those from afar, but it's hard to pin down who we're most excited for with such a diverse line-up of epic proportions. Brighton's Abattoir Blues have been on our radar for quite a while and their live performances never fail to get crowds groovin'. The rising rock herd create winning slabs of post-punk madness and you'll certainly be in for a treat if you head down to Green Door Store to catch them showcasing the strength of their massively tasty tunes. 

Rock four-piece, The Amazons are on the verge of breaking into the mainstream and have a number of compellingly addictive and catchy tracks in their repertoire. Expect high energy, playfulness and hard hooks when they take to the stage at The Green Door Store. 

Kent outfit, Get Inuit should definitely be on your festival itinerary. Their self-proclaimed dirty, surf inspired pop rock music bops along at a steady pace and slowly builds into gentle indie anthems. If you're not familiar with them, now's the time to become acquainted as Get Inuit are a band destined for big things. 

Game changing Essex based band, Dingus Khan are on a run of fortune at the moment, with slots at major festivals such as Latitude and Reading & Leeds, the band are bringing their catchy and raucous sound to the seaside at Two Three Four. The band, who refused to be pigeon-holed, possess unyielding energy and  a refreshing change of pace; we can't wait to see what they bring to their set at the festival. 

Local band, MarthaGunn have bloomed into one of the music industry's best kept secrets but it's about time that changed and people got to know them. The fivesome are meant to tread stages far bigger than the ones they're currently playing on. The female-fronted band make the kind of tracks that whips the frown straight from your face and and 'Heaven' is a definite fan favourite. Make sure not to miss their set.

Our final tip for the festival is the fabulous Hannah Lou Clark. The infectious songstress has truly flourished on her own in recent months and this success is set to continue. Her tracks are feel-good to the bone and we know she'll easily impress at Two Three Four.

As you can see, there are plenty of unmissable and incredibly talented artists on the bill, and with it being free entry there's no excuse not to go. Festivals like Two Three Four are the perfect opportunity to discover your new favourite band before they hit the big time and they benefit the underground music scene and music industry in countless ways. We can't think of anywhere we'd rather be on the bank holiday weekend than at Two Three Four.
