Wolf Alice are back in full force and taking no prisoners on their brand new single, 'Yuk Foo'.
Having received its first spin on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show as her hottest record, news also followed of their second album and upcoming tour dates, including a show at Brighton Dome.
The follow-up record to their 2015 debut, 'My Love Is Cool,' will be titled 'Visions Of A Life' and will be released on 29th September via Dirty Hit.
Speaking about 'Yuk Foo', vocalist Ellie Rowsell said: "We wanted to make it open to interpretation, so that anyone who was frustrated at something could have it as their anthem.
"For me, a lot of it is about being a young woman. Even the shit, everyday wolf-whistle thing. As I get older, I feel like 'Why have I always put up with that?' When I sing that kind of song, it's everything that I want to do when that happens."
Wolf Alice will bring their storming new sound to Brighton at the end of the year on 20th November. Tickets for the show are available from 9am on Friday 16th June.
London four-piece, Wolf Alice have been snapped up and signed by the remarkable Dirty Hit. The label are also responsible for the likes of Fossil Collective, Little Comets and The 1975. Fronted by Ellie Rowsell, the Camden-hailing foursome are set to release their highly-anticipated debut album on the label later this year.

London four-piece Burning Beaches are a group whose rock sleaze has already caught the attention of Noel Fielding and Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell, but now they're on their way to bigger and brighter things. Their tracks, that have been played on Absolute Radio, are wilder than anything we've heard before. Thought Drenge were hardcore? Think again.
Burning Beaches create sharp and violent blues-rock with a sinister twist and the bass is to die for. This grungy foursome don't do things by halves and there is more to them than merely hype so get yourself hooked and you'll never look back. Of course, their wonderful noise-encrusted sound shouldn't come as a surprise; hailing from the musical hotbed of Camden has some advantages, which are clearly at work here.
The abrasive roars of 'Sink Or Swim' leaves you wondering where this band have been all your life, whilst the injection of sleaze and venom on 'Marilyn' is an epic jam that keeps on giving and manages to tip them into the big leagues. Everything will now be measured against these early, formative releases - but we just know they will continue to get bigger and better with age. Need some more assurance of their feel-good vibes? Forming the flipside of their double A-side with former hit 'Bubbles', Birmingham outfit Superfood's new track 'Melting' is one that finds them transporting listeners all the way back to 1993.
The omnipresent 90s vibes and subtle, yet exciting key changes allow the polished track from the Brummie four-piece to flourish, although any deep meaning tucked behind the lyrics are left ambiguous. Not all bands can get away with it, but when you sound so gloriously carefree, who cares how nonsensical and meaningful the words they muster up are? We certainly don't; focus on their tranquilising neo-grunge sound instead.
Having been announced to support Wolf Alice at Koko's NYE Ball, it appears Superfood are quickly finding themselves playing on bigger stages to bigger crowds as the clock ticks. The only question left to ponder upon, is what will 2014 have in store for the group? We can only speculate, but a safe bet should be placed on something beneficial and nutritious. Words Lauren Wade
With festival season in full swing and Glasto done and dusted for another year, Southwold's Henham Park is set to deliver their eighth year of folksy frolicking. Providing an alternative to the usual festival staples, the Suffolk site sees Bloc Party, Kraftwerk and Foals take to the stage, delivering headline sets that are not to be missed. Clashes in set times means festival goers will have to be selective, when choosing who to watch. Commencing on the 19th July, the three day festival opens in style with Theme Park on the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage. The London five piece will throw into the mix anthemic, ethereal indie as they plough through hits from their self-titled debut album (released in February this year). Heading over to the Obelisk Arena, which is set on top of a hill overlooking the whole site, the criminally underrated I Am Kloot will be picking tracks from their vast back catalogue to perform. Despite being overlooked in the past due to their lack of mainstream commercial success, their set at this year's festival will diminish any doubt that still lingers.
Remaining in the Obelisk Arena on Saturday, crowds will witness Rock Revolver favourite Jessie Ware brew a soulful serenity and throwback 90s vibes, with tunes such as Running, 110% and Wildest Moments. Following Ware, New York's Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to tear it up and thrill with new material. Whilst, BBC Radio 6 Music Stage will play host to North London's Daughter and their strikingly intimate and captivating live show, before Alt-J headline the same stage later on that night.
Taking it down a notch, the final day of the festival features a special afternoon performance from Bobby Womack - the critically acclaimed and one of the most influential soul singers of all time. Off the back of their recent album success, Disclosure bring their sound to the masses on Sunday night on the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage before Beach House deliver a headline set (on the same stage).
As with many festivals, the fun and festivities are not limited to just these two stages. Across the weekend you can catch other artists such as Temples, Chvrches, Stealing Sheep, Drenge, Friends, Hookworms and Wave Machines on the i Arena stage, which is nestled under a canopy of trees in the Latitude woods. If that's not your cup of tea, The Lake Stage showcases the talent of tomorrow in an atmospheric and shimmering setting. This year you can catch sets from Swim Deep, The 1975, Wolf Alice, Port Isla, Jagwar Ma and Coves. Plus, tucked away at the near the banks of the lake, be there to witness another Rock Revolver favourite Catfish and the Bottlemen on The Alcove Stage.
If you need a bit of a break from the music, there is still plenty to satisfy your appetite with throughout your stay at Latitude. If you're a Bowie fan you're in for a treat this weekend; be sure not to miss Bowiefest in association with the ICA presents Bowie 1973, bringing together a wealth of talent, talks, appearances and more from those closely related to the star. If poetry and spoken word is your thing, it's worth coming to the festival for this stage alone. The spoken word extravaganza features the current poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, local hero Luke Wright, stand-up poet Tim Clare and Peterborough-based spoken word double act Dead Poets. Finally, the Graduate fashion show presented by Bip Ling, Jamie Laing and Storm Models promises to be a veritable feast of fashion antics.
Hopefully, this will wet your appetite for Latitude 2013 and serve as a guide of what's worth checking out if you are made to choose. Likewise with most festivals, there are always those gems waiting to be discovered, so get out there and catch some new music (and old favourites).
This track is from Bowie's fourth album "Hunky Dory". The start of the song begins with Bowie correcting his producer Ken Scott, who had mispronounced Warhol's name, on the actual pronunciation. I like this song because it presents Bowie as a real person, with inspirations and experiencing some of life's awkward moments. For example after his studio chat with his producer, Bowie asks if the tape is rolling and when he discovers it is - laughter follows. This is Bowie at his best, go on give it a listen.

Bastille - Sleepsong
I discovered this band in August last year following their performance at Reading Festival. Fearne Cotton was hyping them up so I decided to give them a listen. From my first preview, I liked their sound and what they were doing but it wasn't enough to make me want to download the tracks. Although when iTunes released this a as a free download, I thought I'd give it another listen and I can confirm it was ten times better the second time round. Check it out now.

The Rolling Stones - Doom And Gloom
I love the Stones! I love this song! It's classic and it contains an uptempo blues attack which is catchy and so good. This is the track that leaves you wanting more. I would kill to see this band live. I really would.

Wolf Alice - Fluffy
This woozy number has hints on punk with fantastic vocals from Ellie Rowsell. I've heard this a lot on the radio, and it's one of those songs which grow on you over time. Give it a listen.

Muse - Supremacy
I was introduced to this track in October when Muse released their sixth studio album "The 2nd Law". This is the opening song on the record, and I believe it's a great opening number. It's classic Muse with Bellamy's trademark vocals and apocalyptic clashing of instruments. This is the band's latest single (and I think it would have been perfect for the latest James Bond film) so what are you waiting for? Get this in your life now.
